I bought a Britax Frontier in June 2008 when they were fairly new car seats, and started with him in November 2008 (when my son finally met the £ 33 mark to turn him away, in rear-facing Britax Marathon). The car seat has been used only 14 months, and my son only weighs 37 pounds now, but when I took the car seat to notice the crumbs out of the car vacuum, I do, that the belt that runs under the car seat is fraying on both sides! I know that to replace seat belts if they begin Fray will have to, because it creates a weak spot that could break in a crash, so, I called to ask about the Britax car seat belts. I was told that since the car seat of the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty is there was nothing they could do, except to another seat to sell me for $ 125, and that my current seat needed to be replaced for safety reasons. Needless to say, I am so angry! Who wants to pay back pay for a car seat, the supposedly last years would be up to my son 80 pounds (which will be 4-5 more years at this rate #?!?! Now I must either be even more for something that will last for years, or risk my son’s # security is not security, so we have car seats in the first place?) War. Be aware when you buy the car seats! In addition, Amazon will not mind doing it either, because after 30 days it is under warranty. Rating: 5.3
I really liked the Britax Frontier 85 for the first month. It is built very sturdy and well. May be built too well. My 3 year old, and three years old, had an accident. I tried to pull the cover off to wash it and was totally lost! It’s bad enough that I take to wash the seat of the car the cover (we have the roundabout before this and had to do the same thing), but now I have the instructions to try and figure out how to Get found the cover. There are three pages of instruction, to remove only the cover – they are a joke. This is a booster seat – children using it going to have accidents! Has no one ever Britax use their product. The Frontier is worth it, but wait until your child is completely potty trained before they are one. Rating: 5.3
I love this place, but especially my son loves it. I love it because it is a five-point harness that I can sit on nearly 6-year-old’s. . and allows the adjustments to its growth, it will probably fit into the five-point harness until he is 10. It is well made and easy to install. I agree with other reviews that on one stretch of the line both latches is used, not ideal. Appears easier to attract, but not like my other Britax, where each bar has a tether. This is the reason for my 4 stars. The other, that my son a hard time unbuckling from the seat is added. I did it for him to do most of the time. This is minor for me. I would rather have him safe. One last bit TID. . I do not think this place can be used in a car in it without the latch system. We have tried to install it in another car with the seat belt and could not successfully pull the strap through the back of the seat? Rating: 5.4
wanted to escape I bought this car seat for a 9 year old child, the special needs of booster seats. The seat is comfortable and easy to adjust and change cars! I love the belt! He holds him in his seat and after what I will, he in that office for at least three more years to see fit! Expensive but worth it, if you have what looks to protect them. . . . Your child! This car seat is very comfortable. It allows dangle my son to do more than just the legs. It is small enough to use at the front of the seat as a footrest. We just got back from a trip to six days long hours of driving required. He had no complaints! My only complaint is that the belt is very small and round by the length of the back. It was very, very difficult to get through the safety belt for that reason, and I have small hands! I have not used the latch system or not, but that he can go way to get it installed without stress! My sons love the two cup holders! Other than the seat-belt installation problem We love this seat! Rating: 5.4

The Britax Frontier 85 is one of the best baby car seats. The seat grows with your child thanks to the various inserts etc. There have been lots of comments about how difficult it is to remove the covers but once removed they are easy to sponge clean.
