Filter seems to be as advertised. It fit well to the threads on the camera and is free of distortion. Other topics are sufficient to allow access to the lens safe. Rating: 5.4
I did this mainly because I wanted a lens protector that would not interfere with the photography on my new DSLR. It works like a filter and protector great and I would recommend it. I only have two things to note about it: (1) Like other reviewers mentioned, it is really hard to clean, so do not try your fingerprints on it or you’ll be spending the next half hour or more cleaning. (2) I do not know if it was just the one I got, but it’s always correct to me at length on my lens, because the threading just would not line up. My husband said it was probably just not made for my camera (Canon Rebel T1i) and even proposed to go back and get another filter, but I was stubborn enough that I finally * * lined up just right, and it was Once you perfect it – it is hard to find.
